About Zaidee Bliss
Considering her early interest in ballet and figure skating, it is not surprising that Zaidee Bliss found her way to yoga as an adult. That first class was so reminiscent of her ballet years that it felt like coming home. Her natural inclination, skill and experience as a teacher led her along the path to becoming a yoga instructor. In July 2004, Zaidee was certified as a Kripalu yoga teacher. Since then she has been teaching classes of all levels in New York City, New Hope, PA, and Washington County NY.
While living in New Hope, she quickly found the local yoga community at Yogaphoria where she studied and apprenticed with senior Anusara teachers Sue Elkind and Naime Jezzeny. She completed the 200 hour Anusara teacher training, a certification as a Yoga Ed teacher and has taken workshops with Anusara founder John Friend, senior teachers such as Desiree Rumbaugh and Amy Ippoliti as well as teachers from other disciplines such as Shiva Rae and Seane Corn. Her classes are designed to suit the needs and levels of her students. She pays special attention to correct alignment in order to more safely enhance your practice.
Zaidee now resides in Easton, NY with her partner John, their cats and a dog. She is enjoying the area and looks forward to adding her skills and knowledge as a yoga teacher and holistic health counselor to the already rich community. She is also currently teaching at Hubbard Hall. See the Hubbard Hal website for details (go to links).
About Elin Cary
Elin began practicing yoga six years ago, and in January 2010 she became certified to teach Vinyasa Flow yoga through Frog Lotus Yoga. She continues to be inspired by how yoga connects the mind, body and being in such profound ways, and as a teacher is excited to share these discoveries with others. Elin’s class is a dynamic flow which links the postures in a continuous and challenging sequence which energizes the body and centers the mind.
